This book is about Charlie and the chocolate factory. Charlie found a
last golden ticket for Willy Wonka’s Factory. Beating the greedy 4children,
Charlie won at the competition and he becomes an owner of chocolate factory.
The most memorable thing in this book was the chocolate river because it was
very magical even I can imagine and think I want to drink that. Also the Oompaloompa
song was memorable because the song was tactful and attractive. I think it is a
good book because it is very imaginable, there are many unique expressions, and
the book is just interesting! If I have time, I want to watch a movie of this.
I will never forget it!

My Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (book review)
Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory
Book
review
“Charlie and
chocolate factory”. This is one of my favorite books. The reason being the way
that Roald Dahl wrote the book. It felt like I was in the story, (lots of adjectives
that made me imagine the scene) among the characters. And all those ridiculous
ideas of marshmallow pillows, lockable wall paper, ice cream that never melts,
all these were ideas that I would have not thought. So some of the big high
lights for me in the book were, the chewing gum that had a full course dinner!!,
and a huge chocolate river falling from a huge water fall. Also the idea of
teleportation of chocolate into a TV, which is really awesome. I am the type
guy who would really love a chocolate bar right out of The TV. My favorite
character in the book is little Charlie. He is a very nice and humble kid who
never thinks about himself and cares about other people.
So, the basic
story line is that, Mr. Wonka, the great chocolate maker in history decides to
put five golden tickets in his ordinary chocolate bars underneath the wrapping
(and his chocolates are shipped all around the world). Who ever found the
ticket would have a life time supply of chocolates for their life and be allowed
to be toured by Willy Wonka around his factory (the great deal about the
factory is that no one knows how the factory works. Nobody has seen any workers
go in or out for a long time and still the factory is supplying chocolate).
After the five golden tickets were found by five lucky children they read the
ticket and it said that they would have to be at the gate of the factory on February
the first………. Then when the day arrived, all the children that found the golden tickets were lined up in front of the huge factory with their mothers and
fathers. Then the gates opened and they walked in. After meeting Mr. Wonka, the
group went to different places in the factory that had lot of fascinating
things but all the naughty children that did not have patience or wanted
something that they saw or had hideous chewing gum habits got them into trouble.
For example, one fell in the chocolate river because they were leaning too far
trying to drink the chocolate and one ate a special chewing gum that was a full
course dinner that Mr. Wonka showed, but he warned that when the taste turned
in to blueberry flavor something really bad would happen. Then the girl ignored
Mr. Wonka and ate the chewing gum and turned into a huge plump blueberry.
So, in all, I
think that the book is very funny and creative. I recommend not only to
youngsters but to all ages.
